video surveillance tough enough for busy casinos Case Study: A standard system that unifies Surveillance across a wide geographical area Airship Industries, a Bellevue, Wash. developer of high-performance enterprise video surveillance solutions, announced today that its Airship Comprehensive Enterprise Video System has been chosen by Crazy Moose Casino locations in Kennewick, Pasco, and Mountlake Terrace, Washington. The Airship video system will replace legacy VCRs and will provide failover support for a number of DVRs the company installed a year ago. The Airship system will provide the Crazy Moose properties with a standardized environment which is easier to use, more reliable, simpler to maintain, costs less and outperforms their existing system as well as other video surveillance systems they evaluated before choosing Airship. Across their properties, the Airship system will include real-time full-resolution workstations with dedicated H.264 hardware decoding. The workstations are capable of simultaneous playback of 9 or more recordings from Airship Servers, and offer dual VGA-monitor support for simultaneous viewing of live and playback video. They also offer 8ea analog monitor outputs to drive their existing monitors. Surveillance personnel at any Crazy Moose casino will be able to manage cameras from a single interface, with unlimited room for growth. The Airship system will also include H.264 DVRs and system-wide failover protection, giving the casinos the same quality system as large casinos at a price they can afford. |
